Annie, Elizabeth and I (Sarah) made the journey to White Plains, NY to visit Iris and her crew for a behind the scenes look at how Artyarns is made. Seeing all that beautiful yarn in one place was so exciting! It was like being inside a glittering, yarny snow globe! Being able to see the colors in person and feel each yarn made such a positive difference in our decision making process.

As a result of our little trip we've decided to branch out with Artyarns and bring in more of their product! We even have something special in the works, just for our Annie and Company customers!! We can't wait to share these delicious yarns with you as soon as they come in! In the mean time, we have a wide array of Beaded Mohair with Sequins and Silk Rhapsody Light for your next project.

Hey there yarn lovers, Sarah here. I just wanted to share some of the new patterns and yarns that Lang has introduced for Spring! As soon as I saw them I was so ready to start my spring/summer knitting and I know you'll all feel the same way! Let's shake off the icicles and look toward warmer days!  

First up, the patterns. With not 1, not even 2, but 3 new pattern books for Spring, the inspiration is endless! Everything is light and airy and delicate, perfect for keeping you stylish and fresh.

Now on to the the real goods, the yarn!  

Asia  

is made of 70% silk and 30% yak. Use a US4-5 for a solid comfy fabric or use a larger needle to get a great lacy effect. The softness of this yarn will have you wanting to make all sorts of pieces!   

  Clown  

is made of 38% cotton, 30% polyester, 26% viscose, and 6% nylon. Don't let this combination of yarns scare you away, it knits like a dream. Grab your US7-8 and let the fun commence! I did and I can't wait to wear this cardigan in a few weeks!

Florida  

is made of 50% cotton and 50% acrylic and the name alone will start making you feel warm and sunny! On a US9-10 you'll be able to whip up the cutest beach cover or light cardigan with time to spare. It's a no-brainer!

The newest members of the family are Revive from Rowan Yarns and Tokonatsu from Noro Yarns and we know you're going to love them!

Tokonatsu is Noro's new spring yarn! It's another DK weight yarn consisting of Cotton, Silk, and Viscose with 136 yards. It's soft and tweedy and the vibrant colors are just the thing to chase away your winter blues!
